Using Eventbrite to get instant response

We carried out Email Marketing campaigns to promote the Women in Enterprise Gala Events Oct 2014 and Feb 2016. The Women in Enterprise network is based in the Derry Londonderry area in Northern Ireland. The campaigns were designed to capture member’s attention with targeted emails and encourage them to click through to register or book the event. We have compared the first emails that were sent out in both campaigns.

In the 2014 campaign we included a link to register by email. We had a very low click through rate and these all bounced, with no conversions.

In the 2016 campaign we included a clear call to action button leading people to a booking page on Eventbrite. We had a high conversion rate, with a very high conversion rate, ie they completed the purchase journey. The most significant factors here:

  1. Purchase was complete, ticket paid for immediately
  2. We had very engaged email customers
