What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect information when you register with us, complete a contact form, purchase an online product, participate in customer surveys and competitions. We also collect website information using cookies, so please review the additional information below.

The personal data collected when you submit a Contact Form for processing is:   First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Details of Enquiry, IP Address

The information we collect is used primarily for marketing and sales purposes. This ensures that we have the correct information to maintain a channel of communication in order to provide the best service we can to our active clients and our potential clients at all times.

For the benefit of marketing our services or business, we manage an Emailing Programme through which we inform subscribers about our products, services, news, competitions and publications. This enables us to keep loyal customers, subscribers and potential customers up-to-date. In dong this, we receive and store a variety of information for marketing purposes. This enables us to manage and respond to leads and sales opportunities, which support our overall sales objectives.

We employ third party automation software for marketing to enable us to collect, store and manage this information, which in turn supports our marketing efforts.  When a user interacts with us via our website, we automatically collect and store certain information about that user and the user’s activities:

User’s company information, if applicable

The purpose and detail of the communication

The action we took in response to the user’s enquiry or communication

Any downloads the user availed of Data is retained for approximately six years All the information collected in connection with each user interaction is retained for our marketing and sales purposes.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Web Hosting & Analytics

We use the services of Amito Hosting Providers to host our customer websites. This enables us to provide high quality hosting solutions through which we can store the personal information you provide on secure servers located in controlled facilities. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for the transmission of your sensitive information over the internet. SSL is an industry standard to ensure internet messages are not intercepted.

We use Google Analytics to manage customer’s website analytics for the purpose of monitoring and developing their website.

Sales & Finance

We use 3rd party systems to manage interactions with live and potential customers. This assists us with our sales efforts (including leads generation) and sales processing/management. Information is collected manually and managed and stored temporarily on third party software systems including Basecamp. Standard data collected via our 3rd party software typically consist of:
Full Name, Company Name, Email Address, Address, Contact Phone Number
Data is retained for approximately 6 years.


We use XERO to manage our internal billing and financial services. We use this for company accounts, day to day billing, credit control, historical financial data and banking.  This information is manually input by our team and also managed by our accounts support. This information is used to perform the day-to-day and annual financial activities of our business.
